So here’s the thing–sometimes you just have to pick up, pack a bag and run away from home for the weekend. So when my friend Big Rich said, “When are you coming out to my beach house?”, I said, “Does tomorrow work for you?”. Then I gathered my friend Crystal, threw some quiche and salad in the car and off we went. (I couldn’t show up empty handed. Come on! We always travel with food and drinks.)
There is nothing like brunch on the beach, overlooking the surf, the sun warming your back…food tastes so much better by the sea (accompanied by a belly full of wine).
As I prep dinner while our hosts take a quick snooze in preparation of tonight’s festivities (I can’t help myself) I have my ad hoc assistant typing up today’s lunch menu for you.
Our Brunch by the Beach consisted of Quiche Lorraine, Salad with Buttermilk Dressing, and Bitch Bubbly.
